Shine Program USA: Applications are now open!
Together with Swiss Re, Ashoka and BOOKBRIDGE, the second edition of Shine Program USA, will support next generation social innovators in translating their ideas and solutions into scalable business models to maximize social impact. Through the initiative, we are looking to support early-stage entrepreneurs in USA, who are trying to address challenges in the areas of Natural hazard and climate risk management (Climate smart agriculture, Disaster risk reduction,Coastal resilience ,Transformation to net zero – e.g. renewable energy, afforestation, recycling,) and Access to health (including healthy nutrition).
The selected social entrepreneur will go through a six-month immersive nurture program during which they will be partnered with Swiss Re experts and leadership & business coaches to develop a financially feasible and scalable business plan that can have tangible social impact.
In addition, at the end of the Shine Program, the selected innovator stands a chance to win financial award of up to USD 35 000 to fuel their growth.
