NASA Nebraska Space Grant Fellowships

NASA is interested in the future workforce development in the domains of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). These competitive scholarships are given to students who have exhibited academic achievement as well as an interest in STEM vocations. The program’s purpose is to attract and retain students interested in STEM subjects by providing them with workforce skills that will prepare them for jobs at NASA or in the aerospace industry. The fellowships are not standard scholarships because they demand participation in STEM subjects. For their fellowship, students must submit a workforce development activity, research study, internship, or similar endeavor.
Eligibility
- must be a U.S. Citizens
- applicants must be graduate or undergraduate students
- students in both full-time and part-time programs are eligible to apply
- women and minorities who are underrepresented in the workforce are especially encouraged to apply
- during the duration of the funding, students must attend one of the Nebraska Space Grant Consortium institutions
