Launch of £1m Fund to Boost Reusable Packaging

Application is open for the Launch of £1m Fund to Boost Reusable Packaging. Created by Hubbub, in partnership with Starbucks, the Bring It Back Fund aims to support innovative projects to increase the adoption, and remove barriers to, reusable packaging in the food and drink sector. Hubbub conducted research into customer perceptions of reusable packaging and found inconvenience, hygiene concerns and cost are key barriers to their wider use. Systems where a customer can borrow and bring back packaging present opportunities to reduce these barriers and this fund aim to accelerate new ideas to reduce reliance on single-use packaging.
