Union.ai, a Bellevue, Wash.-based provider of an open source workflow orchestration platform, closed a $10m seed funding round.
The round was led by NEA with additional participation from a select group of angels.
The company intends to use the funds to further grow the Flyte open source ecosystem while building out a commercially available Union Cloud platform.
Led by Ketan Umare, CEO, and Haytham Abuelfutuh, CTO, Union.ai provides Flyte, an open source workflow orchestration platform that allows engineers and data scientists to focus solely on developing models to solve their core business problems. Union.ai offers new services on top of Flyte so that users can integrate with machine learning tools, develop reproducible and shareable models, and reap the benefits of a thriving open source, serverless platform.
Companies including Lyft, Spotify, GoJek and more, use Flyte to power their Data & ML products.
