Prado, an Austin, TX-based provider of an e-commerce and logistics platform, raised $5.75M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Bonfire Ventures, with participation from Slauson & Co., January Ventures, Alumni Ventures, Bridge Investment Group, and Supply Change Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its team and scale its platform to support more merchant partners in more markets.
Led by CEO Jon Carter, Prado is a customizable e-commerce platform for local meal delivery companies to market, sell, fulfill, and ship their perishable products. The company’s technology allows local food and beverage entrepreneurs to combine their marketing, operations, and sales efforts into one integrated solution. It can be used for both in-store and online transactions.
Merchants to the likes of Everytable, Prep To Your Door, and Lucky Lime use Prado to increase equity and accessibility for their customers.
